Power and innovation for forestry work
The Wicki Forst crawler is a joint development by Romatech (Romano Romani) and Harry Wicki . Combining decades of forestry experience and engineering expertise, the first Wicki Forst crawler was built in 2012.
The Adler EHY6 winch (8 tonnes) accommodates 150 metres of 12 mm rope. It handles demanding terrain with slopes of up to 45 degrees. The traction winch assists travel on slopes. The specially developed rubber tracks with oscillating axle also provide low-impact travel on soft ground. Precise radio control is provided by the HBC-radiomatic linus 6.

HAFO auxiliary winch
Pulls the main rope uphill automatically, so you no longer need to carry the heavy rope to the log by hand.

Hydraulic rope payout
The rope runs neatly off the drum through a dedicated guide and pulley, hydraulically instead of by hand. This protects the rope and saves effort and time on each pull on a slope.
Option
Rubber pads on the tracks
Rubber pads bolted to the steel tracks. They protect asphalt, paving and surfaced paths, run much more quietly and can be replaced individually.
All four options can be combined freely and retrofitted later. You do not have to decide today.

We now fit every crawler with the Hatz IoT module. It lets us access the machine from our Malters workshop wherever it is. When a fault occurs, we can investigate before making a site visit.
