For hikers and trekking enthusiasts, breathable footwear that keeps feet cool and comfortable in warm weather is of great importance. The Zamberlan Airound GTX RR sets standards in terms of breathability.
It is the first shoe ever to offer true 360-degree breathability – all around, even on the sole. At just 385 grams, it is also feather-light.
The Airound GTX RR is minimalist yet robust, designed for fast and effortless hiking in challenging terrain. It owes the unique breathability of its sole to the patented Vibram Speed Hiking design with GORE-TEX Surround technology and patented Gore Open Cell Spacers in the midsole: These allow excess heat and moisture to escape directly from the sole of the foot. Despite the airy construction, the sole is extremely durable – a robust Vibram outsole with TPU stabilizers in the arch is located under the breathable midsole.
The heel and toes are reinforced with thermoplastic, and the shaft is made of compression-molded EVA material – which gives the shoe excellent flexibility and protection against stones and scree.
