The Karakorum Trek GTX is a robust trekking and mountaineering boot for men. It is suitable for demanding treks and easy alpine high-altitude tours.
Features
- 3D-Flex-System hinge
- Lining: Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort – waterproof and breathable, less thickly lined than, for example, the S3
- Insole: 6 mm Ibi-Thermo, insulating
- Grippy Vibram® sole with Impact Brake System, resoleable and durable
- Shaft: robust, made from a single 2.8 mm thick piece of leather with water-repellent treatment
- Conditionally crampon-compatible (only for strap-on crampons)
A full-surround scree protection rand protects the leather from abrasion. With the Impact Brake System of the Vibram® sole, the arrangement and shape of the tread lugs dampen impact, provide more grip uphill, and reduce the risk of slipping downhill.
