Descender with adjustable braking for canyoning, with a braking spur and a locking slot
The PIRANA descender with adjustable braking, designed for canyoning, is intended for independent canyoners and canyoning guides. It offers three rope installation options to select the desired braking force before abseiling. A braking spur allows for increasing the braking friction during the descent. The plastic ring keeps the carabiner in the correct position to simplify rope installation. The device remains attached to the harness when the rope is inserted, preventing it from being dropped. A locking slot and an additional braking spur allow for quick and easy locking of the device.
