Lightweight, large asymmetrical carabiner

The lightweight, large, asymmetrical WILLIAM carabiner is made of aluminum. Its pear-shaped design is practical for connecting multiple elements. The smooth interior surface and the Keylock system facilitate clipping and unclipping. The WILLIAM carabiner is available with three locking systems: the automatic TRIACT-LOCK and BALL-LOCK systems, and the manual SCREW-LOCK system. The WILLIAM can be combined with the CAPTIV positioning bar to favor the loading of the carabiner along its longitudinal axis, preventing twisting and ensuring it forms a solid unit with the device.

Detailed description

  • The pear-shaped design allows for a wide snap opening:
    - Makes it easier to connect multiple elements.
    - Allows you to use a half hitch in case of an exit.
  • The lightweight aluminum carabiner reduces the weight of the equipment that the height worker has to carry.
  • Facilitates handling:
    - The edge-free surface on the inside makes it easier to turn the carabiner.
    - The keylock system prevents the carabiner from getting caught.
  • H-profile:
    - Ensures an optimal breaking load/weight saving ratio.
    - Protects the marking from abrasion.
  • Available with three locking systems:
    - TRIACT-LOCK: automatic locking system with 3-way opening.
    - BALL-LOCK: automatic locking system with 3-way opening and locking indicator.
    - SCREW-LOCK: manual screw lock with red indicator that is visible as long as the carabiner is not locked.
  • Also available in black (TRIACT-LOCK and SCREW-LOCK versions) and gold (TRIACT-LOCK and BALL-LOCK versions).
