Merino Wool Socks In contrast to regular wool, merino is much thinner and therefore does not scratch the leg. It also has odor-inhibiting properties and wicks moisture away from the foot. Naturally, this wool has extremely good insulation properties to keep you warm in sub-zero temperatures.
