Petrol Chainsaw MS 162: Entry-level model for diverse tasks
The STIHL MS 162 petrol chainsaw is a reliable entry-level device for private property maintenance. Whether you want to saw firewood or prune fruit trees – the lightweight and robust MS 162 is suitable for occasional use in a wide variety of applications. Even felling smaller trees is possible with this chainsaw.
The optimally coordinated overall system includes the powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine. It ensures good cutting performance with low fuel consumption. This allows you to reliably achieve precise cuts, supported by the standard 3/8" P saw chain with its narrow kerf. The chainsaw runs smoothly and quietly: The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces the transmission of vibrations to the handle and relieves strain on muscles and joints.
Particularly convenient: Thanks to single-lever operation, you control all functions such as start, operation and stop with just one hand. Restarting after work interruptions is effortless because the combi-lever with stop function automatically springs back to the operating position. Another comfort feature is the safe and easy chain tensioning via the practical side chain tensioner.
