The STIHL MS 500i is the world's first chainsaw with STIHL Injection technology and sets new standards in professional forestry. With 79.2 cm³ displacement, 5.0 kW / 6.8 hp engine power, and a weight of only 6.2 kg, it offers one of the best power-to-weight ratios on the market.
Thanks to electronic fuel injection, the MS 500i impresses with extremely fast acceleration, direct throttle response, and effortless operation – regardless of altitude or ambient temperature. Its lightweight design makes it the ideal chainsaw for felling and processing large timber.
Standard features include a new bumper spike for precise work, the HD2 filter for long service life, a captive nut on the sprocket cover for quick and safe chain changes, and a controlled-delivery oil pump. Tool-free fuel caps enable easy, clean, and safe refueling.
