The innovative Toolprotect SL-Pro rope guide serves as a sliding grip on the rope of cable winches. Its primary purpose is to protect the operator's hand from potential injury caused by rope damage. This could, for example, be protruding individual steel strands. At the same time, it protects the rope itself from damage in the event of contact with obstacles. The guide bar is used to position the rope at the vulnerable point while the rope is stationary. Then, the operator steps back at a safe distance and continues with the operator's back. The guide bar can also be used to protect the bark of trees that have accidentally entered the skidding line from injury. Finally, the guide bar gently cushions the rope end at the end of the winch's pull-in point. This minimizes or even eliminates the dangerous whiplash-like deflection of the rope end. At the same time, the rope pull-in point is protected, and the gentle pre-tensioning of the component supports the rope release from the very beginning.

Currently, the L (Large) size is available on the market. This is designed for rope diameters up to 14 mm and a maximum pulling force of approximately 7 tons.
