Rope Runner SL-Pro
The innovative Toolprotect SL-Pro rope runner serves as a sliding grip on the rope of winches. Its primary purpose is to protect the operator's hand from possible injuries caused by rope damage, such as protruding individual steel strands.
At the same time, it protects the rope itself from damage when it comes into contact with obstacles: With the rope stationary, it is positioned at the endangered spot using the positioning bracket. You then step back to a safe distance and continue with the skidding. The rope runner also protects the bark of trees that have unintentionally entered the skidding path in the same way.
Finally, the rope runner gently cushions the rope end in the winch's end stop. This minimizes or completely prevents the dangerous whip-like lashing of the rope end. At the same time, the rope guide is protected, and the gentle pretensioning of the part supports rope payout from the start.
